Visiting the Bay Area This Summer

Lets Face it. We all work a little too hard in this country for the American dream and our bodies and minds cant really take it anymore. People should be taking at least one vacation a year and we really dont average that at all. So this summer, take a week or two off work, pack all your men and womens bathing suits, and head down to the San Francisco Bay Area for some delicious sea food and some fantastic weather.

If you dont like the blistering sun down in other vacation spots like Hawaii or Mexico, then San Francisco is the place for you. Not only does it have one of the best cuisine from many different cultures, the weather will be around seventy degrees all day every day. The air is refreshing and there are plenty of amazing sites to see. There are also beaches for relaxation and tanning if thats all you are looking for in your vacation. The water is always a little on the cool side, but a quick dip will enliven the senses after lying in the sun. So pack those swimwear coverups if you dont want to get burned and get ready for a treat for the senses.

Mowing a few lawns and doing a few dishes will teach them that working for what they want is more rewarding than just receiving things for free. Its a dangerous tight rope to walk with your children and sometimes they may dislike you for it, but it is always for their own good. So the next time your son asks you for that Traxxas Revo, tell him to you will get it for him in a week if he takes out the trash and does the dishes. He wont like you for six days, but hell forget all about it on that 7th.

Holiday

I am taking my baby on his first holiday. I was a bit worried about flying with him at such a young age but I know that a lot of people do it and as his grandparents live abroad and want to meet him, I have no other choice really. I am looking forward to seeing them and showing off my new baby but obviously a bit worried about the prospect of managing him on the plane. It is not too long a flight and I am sure it will be okay. I have to remember to phone the airport today to find out if it is okay for me to put my baby jogger on the plane and whether it will have to come out of my luggage allowance. I have a great selection of Longchamp luggage but always manage to have almost too many items in my suitcase when I fly. I guess most women are the same, it is always hard, knowing what to pack and what to miss out and so I tend to try to get everything I own in to one small bag. I will have to pack lightly this time as I will need all of the baby things too.

I love the sun but I am always careful to protect myself from it.
